Fall Out Boy caused a splash (literally) when they appeared on Ellen Degeneres US TV show last night, performing a new song and helping out in a fun game for a good cause. See videos of their appearance below.

Band members Pete Wentz and Patrick Stump joined host Ellen Degeneres for a game where they had to pop as many balloons as possible with bows and arrows, with each balloon earning $1000 towards breast cancer research.

And, by popping the middle balloon, they were able to get fellow guest Patrick Dempsey drenched in Ellen's famous splash tank - and earned all the audience members a new blender.

Also on the show, the full band performed their track Alone Together from current record Save Rock And Roll, complete with a small choir of kids dressed in shirts featuring letters of the album title.  Watch the performance below:

Fall Out Boy will head to the UK and Ireland in March next year as part of their Save Rock and Roll world tour.  Tickets are now on sale for the following dates through Gigwise Gig Tickets.
