Paul McCartney played a pop-up gig in Times Square yesterday, surprising hundreds of New York fans.
The Beatles legend had announced the surprise performance only two hours previously on Twitter, and crowds swarmed the stage during their lunch hour to watch the musician play songs from forthcoming album, New.
McCartney played album tracks including 'Everybody Out There' and 'Save Us', choosing to leave any Beatles songs out of his set. However, fans were not left disappointed, left with memories of a lunch break they'd have difficulty forgetting.
