Glastonbury, Coolio - the week's news in cartoons

It's been another pretty bizarre week in the world of music news. Now, to help you digest everything (and make things a little weirder) we've once again asked Batman LDN to deliver the week's biggest news in cartoons.

The demand for Glastonbury tickets was greater than ever as fans broke records and tickets sold out in record time, Amanda Palmer and her ukulele waded into the increasingly bizarre feud between Miley Cyrus and Amanda Palmer, Coolio showed up at some students' house in Preston to cook and rap for them, Kanye was given some baby leather jogging pants and Breaking Bad is being made into an opera. Mental, eh? You ain't seen nothing yet.

1. Amanda Palmer wades in to Miley Cyrus vs Amanda Palmer feud
Following her open letter to Sinead O'Connor about Miley Cyrus, Amanda Palmer paid tribute the the feuding stars by covering their songs at a recent gig in a 'ukulele mash-up below. She described it as a 'peace- brokering' excercise.

2. Coolio raps and cooks for Preston students

Rapper Coolio made an unexpected appearance in Lancashire this week - turning up at a student flat to cook dinner and perform his hit single, 'Gangsta's Paradise' after a group of students met the hip-hop icon out on a night on the town in Preston before inviting him back to their house.

3. Kanye appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live
Following their epic Twitter spat, Yeezy was interviewed by US TV host Jimmy Kimmel this week, and it was every bit as awkward and uncomfortable as was to be expected. Kimmel told West that people thought he was 'a jerk', before giving him the gift of a pair of leather jogging pants for a baby.

4. 'Breaking Bad, The Opera' is in the works
An opera based on hugely popular TV series Breaking Bad is in the pipeline, according to a New York executive producer. Artistic director of One World Symphony, Sung Jin Hong, revealed on the opera's website that the production was in its early stages, but was yet to be finalised.

5. See Tickets make jibe at complaints after Glastonbury tickets sell out in record time
Ticket company See Tickets have hit back at complaints made by those who voiced their frustration at attempting to purchase tickets to Glastonbury FestivalRecords were broken this morning when tickets to Glasto 2014 sold out in just 82 minutes. See Tickets then took to their official Facebook page where to respond to frustrated customers, saying: "And thanks for all the advice. Never knew we had so many IT consultants following us."
Festival boss Michael Eavis described the ticketing process as being 'as fair as possible'.

6. Robin Thicke: 'Only kids really get 'Blurred Lines'
This week, Thicke claimed that people in power in the UK don't understand his controversial hit, 'Blurred Lines', but he doesn't mind because his young fans do. "I don't think people got it out here [in the UK] in those positions of power," said Thicke in an interview with 1Xtra. "I think the kids get it... I just have to deal with that."
