Pitbull and Ke$ha's upcoming joint Australian tour has been cancelled - and it's allegedly due to poor ticket sales.
Whilst Pitbull's Facebook post to fans announcing the cancellation gave no official reason as to why the tour was being scrapped, Billboard has reported ticket sales are 'understood to have been soft'. The Miami rapper simply wrote: "Regrettably the Promoter is cancelling the Australian Tour. Refunds will be available at point of purchase."
The series of performances, which were due to start October 30th, was scheduled to hit Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth and Sydney. Pitbull told fans he hoped to return soon, saying "we hope to return to Australia in the not too distant future."
The duo recently teamed up for new duet, 'Timber'. Listen below
Whilst Pitbull has been one of the biggest earners in hip hop in 2013, Ke$ha hasn't been doing quite as well, with second album Warrior performing disappointingly in contrast to the success of 2012 debut Animal, failing to bother the Billboard top 5.
