Chris Brown and Drake end feud, plan to collaborate on new track

Former love rivals Chris Brown and Drake are believed to be working together in the studio in a move that will shock followers of classic r&b bust ups. There are plans to get other artists involved in the project, although details are still sketchy this stage.

The pair have certainly had their differences in the past, the nadir of their relationship being in 2012 when a argument between the two escalated into a brawl that ended with bottles thrown and many injured. However, there has been talk of reconciliation from both camps recently. Drake claimed he found the feud 'embarrassing' and that he has recently heeded advice from an unlikely source. He explains "I had lunch with Will Smith and listening to him talk, it made me think". Drake claims that these words and a new found maturity led to him wanting to end the unpleasantness with Brown.

A source tells Hollywood Life: "Make no mistake, that's going to happen. It will, but in time. Both of them like the element of surprise."

There was a public thawing of relations in September where the pair shared an embrace at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas. Despite this feud and Brown's well documented personal problems, both artists still enjoy huge followings in R & B circles. There will be many who will be greatly looking forward to the fruits of their studio time together. That is of course if no one brings up their shared former flame.
