Nirvana, NWA, Kiss, Chic and Deep Purple are all among the legendary artists nominated for next year's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction.

The ceremony will take place in April 2014 and see a selection of iconic bands join musical heroes such as Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Bob Dylan, The Who, Elton John, John Lennon, Abba and many more in the history list of influential and successful rock and rock musicians.

The Replacements, Hall And Oates, The Paul Butterfield Blues Band, Peter Gabriel, LL Cool J, Link Wray, the Meters, Linda Ronstadt, Cat Stevens, Yes and the Zombies are also among the shortlist this year.

To qualify for induction, artists need to have put out their debut single or album at least 25 years ago - making Nirvana now eligible after releasing 'Love Buzz' in 1988.

Chic are also nominated for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame 2014

Last year, Public Enemy, Donna Summer, Quincy Jones and Rush were all inducted, but Kraftwerk missed out.

For the second year in a row, the public gets to vote for for the top five inductees, alongside the artists, historians and music industry insiders of the Rock Hall voting body.

You have from now until 10 December to cast your vote. Visit here to vote for who you would like to see inducted into The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame next year.
