Justin Young of indie troubadours The Vaccines has revealed that the band have not sat together whilst travelling for over two years.
Hinting at the strain that life on the road can put on a band's relationships, the frontman said he only realised how much the arrangements had changed when going through old footage of his band-mates.
''I put a video on YouTube of three shows, Toronto, New York and Los Angeles. I watched it the other day and we're all sitting next to each other on the plane." he explains. The band once opened for The Stone Roses, a band renowned for in-fighting between members.

Things have not always run smoothly for The Vaccines even when they have reached their destination. Talking to NME, Young recalls one particularly problematic show in a cave in the Peak District ''It was extremely echoey and also very damp indeed. I remember they had this barrier and on the other side was a 20 foot drop. So if anyone had been feeling a touch over-enthusiastic that evening, a 20 foot drop awaited them. Somehow, no one died.''
Fans will hope that this news is only a sign of the normal wear and tear that touring groups' relationships suffer and nothing more significant. The band have at least kept it together on stage recently, winning best live act at the 2013 Brit Awards.
