Lady Gaga has been contacted by the administrators of Instagram following the posting of a series of handwritten lyrics.

Gaga wrote on Twitter about the incident following the correspondence from the site. Although she didn't flag exactly which lyrics were cause from concern, she did post the following recently: 'My heart would break without you, might not awake without you, been hurtin' low from living high for so long. I'm sorry and I love you. succeeded by: 'Each day I cry, I feel so low from living high.'

After recieiving the email Lady Gaga posted: 'omg at this email INSTAGRAM just sent me". Also posting a screenshot that said  'Members of the Instagram community have raised concerns for your well-being after seeing posts you've shared. We're reaching out to provide you with some important safety information'.

However the singer wasn't too rattled by the experience, reverting back to promoting her new album 'Artpop' which is released on November 8th: 'FUN FACT about ARTPOP: I send the songs over and over until they transformed into a part of me. Then we pressed record.'
