Twitter was set ablaze today (18 October, 2013) with this desperately simply collection of the best googly eyes images on Instagram, courtesy of Mashable.

It's not big, it's not clever, but for a Friday afternoon - it is mildly amusing. It also got us thinking how some of the biggest albums of all time would have faired if they hd been unleashed on the world - with a massive pair of googly eyes stuck on the front. We reckon the careers of Queen, Madonna, The Beatles, Bowie, The Smiths, Michael Jackson and many more could have worked out very differently indeed.
