Arcade Fire surprised fans at their Brooklyn gig last night (October 18) as they stepped out on a secret stage for their first major concert of the year.
The Canadian rockers seemed as though they would be unveiled in the usual place at the front of the warehouse space where a stage had already been set-up.
However, fans were soon left sprinting to the other side of the room as a large black curtain dropped to unveil the members of Arcade Fire.
Frontman WIn Butler was clearly in a humorous mood as he told the crowd, "Everyone good? We're called The Reflektors. We're from Montreal. Thank you for coming. You guys look beautiful by the way. We figured we get dressed up every night."

The band played a ten-song set which included eight new tracks and lasted for about an hour in the "sweaty factory".
New songs 'It's Never Over', Joan of Arc' and 'Flashbulb Eyes' received their live debuts at the gig.
Butler also took the chance to slam the ticket touts who had been trying to sell the gig tickets for up to £5,000 online.
He told the crowd: "As I understand it, we sold 1,800 tickets pretty much on the pre-sale, so consider that our $500 dollar gift to you... There could have been a bunch of weird scalper dudes, but I think it was pretty much humanity doing its thing."
Arcade Fire will take to the now not so secret stage once again tonight (October 19) before continuing their mimi-tour which will see them in Miami and Los Angeles over the coming weeks.
Arcade Fire played:
'Reflektor'
'Flashbulb Eyes'
'We Exist'
'Normal Person'
'Joan of Arc'
'It's Never Over'
'Sprawl II'
'Afterlife'
'Power Out'
'Here Comes The Night Time'
