Punk rockers Blink 182 have announced their first live shows to mark the ten-year anniversary of their 2003, self-titled album, with fans hoping more will be announced very soon.

The band will perform two shows at the Hollywood Palladium on 6 + 7 November 2013, where they will perform the album in full, which includes classic tracks including 'I Miss You' and 'Feeling This'. The two shows were confirmed by Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker in an interview with Los Angeles radio station KROQ. They also confirmed the band are planning a brand new album for release in 2014.

"It was definitely a change in our attitude as a band, the way we thought of ourselves, the way we thought of our music... we strived for this to be our Pet Sounds or our White Album," said Hoppus during the interview of their 2003 album, which many regard as their finest release. "I’m really proud of what we came up with."

Speaking of the shows, Hoppus said: "It’s something special. It’s the 10-year mark of this album. We just did a run... but this is solely, purely for our fans. It’s like a way of giving back and really celebrating an album that was like a turning point for our career."

"The intimacy of a small venue where you can feed off a crowd, it’s just way better," added Barker.
