Rihanna dropped a wildly controversial political reference into her performance in Tel Aviv this week (22 October), mentioning Palestine during her single 'Pour It Up'.
The track has already drawn controversy due to the x-rated video, which shows Rihanna pole dancing half-naked, with legs spread, and during her middle-east performance, changed the 'all I see is dollar signs' lyrics to 'all I see is Palestine' during her Tel Aviv performance. True to form, she was also reportedly two hours late to the gig.
The star has already run into political issues this week when she was asked to leave Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque for violating the "status and sanctity of the mosque" with a photoshoot on the religious site. While wearing a traditional Islamic dress, she posted an image showing female relgious worshippers at the site with the comment 'bitch stole my look'.
