Unassuming pop star Lady Gaga is to launch her much-anticipated album ARTPOP at Berlin's infamous Berghain club tonight (24 October, 2013).
The 'Applause' singer is holding an intimate gathering to celebrate the release of her third album, and 50 competition winners are invited. We sincerely hope they're over the age of 21, as they'll be toasting to ARTPOP in the deep recesses of Berlin's most notorious techno club - Berghain.
Berghain is a formidable institution on the thriving Berlin club scene, held in a towering power plant which plays host to a number of techno and electro nights. With a doorlist so strict you'd probably have to sell your own mother to get past the bouncers, it's also known for its hedonistic, anything-goes vibe - sex parties are reportedly held inside.

Having always held an air of enigma, some are angry that one of the world's most famous popstars is dragging it kicking and screaming into the mainstream, with German electro star Apparat tweeting the whole affair was 'sad'.
Recent previews of ARTPOP have made their way onto the web, with track 'Do What U Want' featuring R Kelly proving so popular it's been announced as the next single. A version of EDM-pop banger 'Swine' also made its way online today.
ARTPOP will be released on November 11th.
