Lady Gaga has revealed 40 second snippet of long awaited 'Venus' from her forthcoming album ARTPOP due for release November 11. Listen below.

'Venus' is the third single, following 'Applause' and 'Do What U Want'; from the long anticipated third album from the 'Just Dance' star. It follows previous releases with a heavy dance beat - and this time comes with a spectacularly lacklustre hookline, as she ends lines with a half-hearted 'venus'.

Watch 'Venus' extract, below:

The meaning of the song is still pretty ambiguous, but she does refer to herself 'Aphrodite lady seashell bikini / garden panty' which is in reference to her attire in her 'Applause' video. The song continues with sexualised lyrics; 'lets blast off to a new dimension / in your bedroom' and  'get with me'.

The extract ends with '#VENUS' which is currently trending through the twittersphere, with a few mixed reviews; mostly good from her fans:

But, it seems like a few fans are already enjoying the repetitive 'VENUS' shouted throughout the song - playing on the latest controversy surrounding the pop star:

The full single is due for release this Monday, October 28.
