Arctic Monkeys have joined the ranks of the many of who have paid tribute to the late, great Lou Reed by performing a cover of his classic single 'Walk On The Wild Side'. Watch a video of their performance below.
As their AM UK tour rolled into Liverpool's Echo Arena last night (Monday 28 October), the band returned for an encore and suprised the sold-out crowd with their cover.
Joined by collaborator and former guitarist with The Coral, Bill Ryder-Jones, the band's rendition was very true to the original, matching it's heavenly easy-going acoustic sensibilities with frontman Alex Turner meeting Reed's iconic deep tones with a slick and silky vocal.
