Jonas Brothers have ended months of speculation regarding their future by confirming that they have split up 'for now'. The decision was said to be unanimous.
Earlier this month, the band shocked fans after deleting their official Twitter account earlier this month, after brothers Joe, Kevin and Nick, cancelled their US tour. The siblings cancelled the entirety of their upcoming US tour amid reports of arguing within the band.
"It's over for now," Kevin Jonas said - speaking to PEOPLE magazine.
Brother Nick continued: "It's really hard to say 'forever,'" before Joe added "We're closing a chapter, for sure." "It was a unanimous decision."
Nick claims that the band split back on 3 October after a meeting where he confessed to his brothers that he had serious concerns about their future. "I was feeling kind of trapped," he said. "I needed to share my heart with my brothers."

A spokesperson for the brothers even publicly commented on the rift, blaming it on musical differences. "There is a deep rift within the band. There was a big a disagreement over their music direction," said Jesse Derris.
Their US tour was cancelled amid reports of in-band fighting and the deletion of their Twitter account, things aren't looking great for the boyband, who formed in 2005 and shot to fame in 2008 after starring in Disney channel movie Camp Rock.
Jonas Borthers were due to release their latest album V, later this year.
