Drake is well known for his smooth R&B hits, but this time 'Come Thru' from his latest album Nothing Was The Same has been given a creepy twist by the Mercury-nominated star - just in time for Halloween.
The collaborative track turns a once smooth song into a haunting rendition, with Blake's use of urgent and at times violent electronics underpinned with the original R&B beat. It turns the sound of the track into a dark and woozing medley of two opposing genres, which surprisingly go together very well.

This is the second time the two artists have come together after producing the James Drake mixtape/mash-up album in 2011.
Blake's latest album, Overgrown, is nominated for the Mercury Music Prize - the winner of which will be announced tomorrow (Wednesday 30 October, 2013).
