Lady Gaga has made headlines once again after her raunchy and controversial performance on the weekend's X Factor results show received hundreds of complaints from viewers.
Ofcom and ITV have since received over 260 complaints - largely related to the flesh-coloured underwear of Gaga and her dancers, which many argue to be 'unsuitable' to be screened before the 9pm watershed.
"We will assess all the complaints received on this issue before deciding whether to investigate," said an Ofcom spokesman.
An ITV spokesman meanwhile, spoke out in Gaga's defence: "We do not believe Lady Gaga's performance was inappropriate for the family audience of the X Factor Results show, which has an established tradition of featuring performances from the biggest music stars. Lady Gaga is well known for her highly individual performance style."
Gaga then took to Twitter to respond to the criticism:
Monsters, please just focus on the positive of tonight's performance and do not send any hateful messages. I don't support it. #SpreadLove
