Metallica have responded to Justin Bieber recently covering one of their classic songs by speaking of their admiration for him - admitting that they are 'Beliebers'.
Yes, you heard that right. The revelation follows on from a Youtube video posted last week that saw Justin Bieber unleashing his metal side with an impromptu 'cover' of 'Fade To Black'. Bieber has always professed to be a fan of Metallica, saying that the band's Black album is his favourite, with 'Fade to Black ' and 'One' being his favourite tracks.
According to Kerrang, when asked what he thought of the US pop sensation, frontman James Hetfield replied: "Are we Beliebers? Yes."

Drummer Lars Ulrich went onto add "Is it possible to have respect for him without being a Belieber? I think the kid's really talented and obviously to go through what he's going through at that early age must be a mindfuck. So the fact that he still goes out there and does it, I admire that and I think he's super talented, so I guess I am kind of a Belieber. If he likes 'One', and Liam Gallagher likes him, OK, there you go."
Well there you have it, Metallica are Beliebers, who's next Cannibal Corpse or Slayer?
