While Bowie was of course not there in person, he did cause a stir in his own unique way due to the freaky and imaginative nature of the clip. Yesterday, Bowie teased fans with the promise of 'good news', which many hoped would relate to a long-awaited tour but in fact was the early premiere of the video - which was shot for just $12.99 (That's around £8) and features some awesome puppets of the man himself from Bowie's archive.
Announcing the video of Facebook, Bowie posted: "Well this is the news we’ve been teasing you with. We have moved the online premiere of David Bowie’s latest visual back a day from November 1st as it has a 'strangely moving gothic inflected storyline perfect for Halloween'."
