Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst is reportedly in talks to develop a drama series based on his early life. Give us stuff to break, please.

Durst is apparently collaborating with US network The CW to create The Noise - a TV drama based on his life. It will follow the rise of a young artist and will be set in the 90s.

TV Guide have reported the storyline will feature a young musician who escapes from a rocky home life to form a chart-topping band with a 'unique' sound. Hmm.

Watch Limp Bizkit's 'Break Stuff' below:

It's the second time the singer has worked on developing a film about his life, having previously developed sitcom Douchebag with CBS, which followed the exploits of a rock star juggling his family life with his wild lifestyle.

Frontman Fred Durst has is no stranger to expanding his repertoire past shouting angry lyrics, having directed two feature films and, oddly, enjoying a stint as Senior Vice President of A&R at Interscope in 1997.

Nu-metal outfit Limp Bizkit rose to fame in 2000 with their headache-provoking hit 'Rollin''. The band, who hail from Florida, recently signed to Lil' Waynes label Cash Money records, and are scheduled to release seventh album Stampede of the Disco Elephants in January 2014.
