Giorgio Moroder has revealed he is planning a collaboration with fellow disco legend Nile Rodgers.

In a new interview with The Guardian, the influential Italian producer opened up about his plans for the future.

"I just spoke to Nile Rodgers, who is reviving Chic, so I'm going to collaborate with him on one song, and hopefully we will talk about him playing on one of mine," he said.

It seems inevitable the pair would work together, having both experienced considerable career revivals this year following their appearances on Daft Punk's much-anticipated Random Access Memories. Giorgio Moroder featured on techno track 'Giorgio by Moroder' whilst Rogers, of course, appeared on summer hit 'Get Lucky'.

Moroder has also worked with David Guetta and Avicii since his appearance on Random Access Memories, revealing: "Suddenly everybody wants to work with me". The producer also told the Guardian he is producing an "underground group" from New York named Class Actress. "I have a lot of stuff going on right now," he added.

Moroder will be appearing at electronic arts festival Leaf in London in November. A series of events taking place across east London curated by Rob Da Bank, artists performing also include Diplo, Duke Dumont and Omar Souleyman.
