Lady Gaga is to be given the honour of both hosting and performing on the same night of US show Saturday Night Live. It's sure to be a busy night for the eccentric singer, but then she does live for the applause.
Her big night is on 16 November, and the reaction on SNL's Twitter feed has been overwhelmingly positive, with TROY exclaiming "Yaaass! She's hosting and performing"

On 2 November, Eminem appears to promote new album The Marshall Mathers LP2. Haim appear as musical guests on 23 November, promoting debut album Days Are Gone.
SNL's producers will be hoping that her performace goes down better than her appearance on the UK X Factor last weekend, which drew numerous complaints from the public. It will certainly be a good gauge of her film and TV aspirations, which seem to be increasing by the day.
