Arcade Fire have played a cover of Devo's 'Uncontrollable Urge' at a show at LA's Hollywood Palladium.
It seems a natural choice, as Arcade Fire occupy the position of indie heroes in the same way that Devo did in the late seventies and early eighties. The cover itself is pretty faithful, with a bit of that beautiful Arcade Fire chaotic energy injected.

The song is commonly thought to be taking matters into your own hands, and that's certainly something that Arcade Fire have done recently with their underground publicity campaign that has seen the world fall in love with the band once more.
