Ricky Gervais has hinted to fans on Twitter he may be bringing David Brent to London's O2 Arena, after his December Bristol gig sold out in just five minutes this morning.
The comedian will be performing Bristol's Colston Hall in December as the legendary The Office character David Brent alongside backing band Foregone Conclusion, and Gervais claims a massive 18,000 people requested tickets for the show, which went on sale this morning.

Two "in progress" warm-up gigs Brent performed at alongside former Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows in London also sold out in under a minute, with touts then flogging the tickets for more than £1000.
It's not the first time Gervais has turned his hand to music, having been one half of failed New Wave 80s pop duo Seona Dancing. His character David Brent performed several songs during The Office, including 'Freelove Freeway' and 'Spaceman Come Down', both of which he has expanded and developed to feature in his live set.
