Foo Fighters have unveiled a trailer for their much-anticipated comeback show in December. Watch it below.

The video sees Erik Estrada of CHiPs travelling around the US to find each individual band member, to pass them a message and get the band back together. Highlights include drummer Taylor Hawkins' brilliant dubbed Spanish as he washes his van, guitarist Pat Smear adopting the role of domestic god to mow his lawn and frontman Dave Grohl 'cooking a delicious chicken with his arse out'.

Dave Grohl and co will perform in Mexico for the first time ever, with brooding indie rock outfit The National acting as support. The bands will play Mexico City's 55,000 capacity Foro Sol stadium on 13 December, 2013.

Grohl, 44, told XFM in August he has finished writing the follow up to 2011's Wasting Light, also revealing to expect big things from the band in 2014, saying: "I think next year is going to be a really big year for the Foo Fighters without question."

Former Nirvana drummer Grohl formed Foo Fighters in 1994 after Nirvana bandmate Kurt Cobain died and the band subsequently dissolved. Foo Fighters have gone on to become incredibly successful, having sold over ten million albums worldwide and winning four Grammys.
