Arctic Monkeys have been forced to cancel tonight's gig (4 November, 2013) in Offenbach, Germany, due to to Alex Turner's ongoing battle with laryngitis.
The frontman's illness has already forced the band to postpone a number of UK shows, and is now affecting the European leg of their 2013 tour. The band made an announcement on their official Facebook page on 3 November, in which it appears the band are still set to play their scheduled shows in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Munich
The Facebook message (translated from German), is as follows:
"Due to illness of the lead singer Alex Turner of the Arctic Monkeys concert on 4 November will be canceled without compensation in Offenbach's city hall.
All other concerts in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Munich thereof for the time being are not affected.
Each acquired for Offenbach ticket can be returned to the respective box offices."
The band band previously postponed shows in Birmingham and Glasgow - as well as their homecoming gig in Sheffield.
