Australian border officials have taken a tough stance against Katy Perry - banning the deluxe edition of her new album Prism due to the 'biohazard' it poses to the good people download.
The famously officious Australian border authorities have taken exception to the presence of the alien seeds in the deluxe edition, which can be imported into the country from overseas. The standard Australian version of the album contains local Australian seeds, with the slightly twee idea being the seeds are planted and trees grown to commemorate the album.
Perry has a frosty relationship with the Australian authorities, having previously slammed Prime Minister Tony Abbott over his stance on gay marriage. Speaking to 2Day FM's Kyle and Jackie O, she stated "I can't give you my vote then. I just don't believe in your policies so that's what a lot of people should be doing"
Seeing as Katy Perry isn't an Australian citizen and doesn't get to vote in the elections there, we doubt he lost too much sleep over the comments. Hopefully Katy Perry will have more luck in her inevitable battle with the customs department.
