Radio One's annual Teen Awards took place yesterday (3 November, 2013) and the musical winners were all former X Factor stars.
Boybands One Direction and Union J, and solo singer Olly Murs were winners of the event's music awards, while the likes of Dr Who and Andy Murray also won big at the event, which was held at London's Wembley Arena. All the winners were voted for by listeners of Radio One.

The event was hosted by Radio 1 breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw, who described the winners and live performers (who included Fall Out Boy, Jessie J and Little Mix), as 'amazing':
"This year's Radio 1 Teen Awards was amazing," he said. "The live music was brilliant, there were some very deserving winners and being able to celebrate the incredible Teen Heroes was an honour, and all in front of a very appreciative audience. It really was Radio 1 at its best."
It was recently revealed that Radio 1 listeners were continuing to desert the station in their thousands, with Grimshaw's show had dropped to a ten year low.
