The Killers have unveiled a brand new song from their upcoming 'best of' album, Direct Hits. Listen to 'Just Another Girl' below.
The track is the second new song from Direct Hits, following on from shimmering M83 majesty of single 'Shot At The Night'. 'Just Another Girl' is a more laid-back mid-tempo affair. Quite fitting for a greatest hits compilation, as the track takes in all of the elements that encompass The Killers' sound from their four albums: there's the Springsteen-y open road anthemics, the Bon Jovi stadium posturing, a synth-soaked Vegas skyline and a ton of glam-rock strutting. It's not bad, but it's not spectacular. It smacks a little of a Battle Born b-side and is pretty much The-Killers-by-numbers.
If you're into that, then fill yer boots.
