After September's speculation of a release date for Lana Del Rey's short film Tropico, the singer has unveiled a new short teaser for the project online. Watch the video below.
The film has extremely high hopes resting on i,t as Del Rey sparked rumours that it would be the final chapter in her short but prolific career.
"Look forward to seeing you for the farewell project," the singer tweeted previously, "I adore you and thank you for inspiring me. TROPICO." Subsequently, fans of the singer are waiting with baited breath to see what the film might reveal as to Del Rey's future.
The clip itself is an extremely short 15 second snapshot that sees Del Rey praying, repeating the mantra, "please god forgive us our sins" over and over again before a cowboy figure emerges remniscient of John Wayne. Clearly this plays directly into the warped Americana ethos that is central to Del Rey's all important image.
The 'Video Games' star revealed the clip, but simply tweeting the words 'coming soon'. Watch it below.
Earlier this year, a leak from Lana's make-up artist sparked excitement after she tweeted that the film would be released on the 30 September. However a rep for Rey swiftly denied this saying that no release date had been confirmed.
