Photos from the set of Lady Gaga's upcoming video for next single 'Do What U Want' seem to confirm that controversial photographer Terry Richardson will be directing it.
The ARTPOP track's artwork, which simply depicted the eccentric singer's bum in a thong was also shot by the US photographer, so it makes sense Richardson is to take the director's chair for this one.

The news may attract criticism from some as rumours continue to swirl about Richardson's professionalism on shoots and his overtly sexual style of photography. A number of people who claim to be former subjects of Richardson, 48, have come forward with shocking allegations of sexual exploitation and abuse.
Last month, an online petition was started, urging big name brands to estop hiring Richardson from future campaigns due to claims of innapropriate behaviour towards his female subjects.
Richardson has also hit the headlines again recently for shooting a series of near-explicit images of 20-year old singer Miley Cyrus. He has worked with some of the world's biggest stars, snapping the likes of Barack Obama, Beyonce, Rihanna and shooting for brands such as Vogue, Supreme, and H&M.
Richardson's previous video for Miley Cyrus' 'Wrecking Ball' has garnered over 293 million views since its release, and became the most talked about promotional clip of the year due to its infamous hammer-licking scenes and naked ball swinging.
