BBC Radio 1 bosses have issued a statement expressing their 'disappointment' at Dizzee Rascal's recent x-rated Twitter rant, which attacked their playlist policy.
This week, the 'Bonkers' star hit out at the station - urging them to 'suck his 'd**k' - as he expressed anger at their playlist policy.
Now, a spokesman has responded saying: "Radio 1 has given Dizzee huge support over the last decade, and while not every song can make the cut, we have playlisted three singles off his current album, so we were very disappointed and really surprised to read these comments."
Opening up on the social networking site, Dizzee laid into the decisions made by the station as he was fed up of trying to get his tracks played by the directors. In the string of abusive tweets he attacks the Live Lounge, playlist decisions and their treatment of UK artists in relation to their American counterparts

When Americans get played in on radio1 they make allowances for profanity but if it's coming from the nigger down the road it's a problem!

Dizzee has been involved in playlist trouble before, calling breakfast show host Nick Grimshaw a "bastard" after the station refused to play Robbie Williams' song 'Candy'. Subsequently Williams' ended up being played after he collaborated with Dizzee on 'Goin' Crazy'.
