Lady Gaga is reported to be confirmed as the first ever artist to perform in outer space.
US weekly claim that the ARTPOP star will head into space on a Virgin Galactic ship to perform one song during the Zero G Colony high-tech musical festival in New Mexico.
"She has to do a month of vocal training because of the atmosphere," a source told the magazine, adding that Gaga's 'glam squad' will also be aboard the shuttle.
Gaga then added rock fuel to the speculation and seemingly confirmed the rumours on Twitter:

Find out if the rumors are true 11.10 LIVE from ARTPOP's album launch. Will #VirginGalactic+#ZeroGColony send Gaga to sing LIVE from space?

Gaga's performance in space is planned to take place at dawn on the third day of the Zero G Colony - a three-day hi-tech festival set to take place at Spaceport America in New Mexico
A source says the historic event will be "like nothing the world has seen before," and that "Gaga has taken out a ridiculous life insurance policy!"
We're sure that will be a relief to Azealia Banks who tweeted:
Kudos to gaga for trying to be original. but that space shit sounds hella dangerous. I bet fifty bucks she chickens out and cancels.
