Avenged Sevenfold have released a video for new single 'Shepherd of Fire'. Watcht the clip below.
The video sees the 2014 Download festival headliners take a surreal trip in a car reminiscent of the infamous boat scene from 1971 film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. The clip also gives a nod to the b-movie genre of the 1960s, with deliberately shakey video of roads behind the doomed classic car.

The song, taken from new album Hail to the King, is a rock stomper with a pretty standard metal growl over the top. To be honest the video is by far the most interesting thing about the whole release.
Avenged Sevenfold split opinion recently when they were announced as headliners for Download festival. Hopefully metal fans will be encouraged by the heavier sound on this new track.
