Lady Gaga has confirmed she will be the first artist ever to perform a gig in space - but she'll need a better engine behind her than the one used in her 'flying dress' Volantic. See the star's wobbly first flight below.
The US star revealed the bizarre and impractical outfit at her New York Artrave event, which is basically a one-man hovercraft with a female torso stuck on the front. Discussing the dress she thanked her audience before whizzing around on stage in front of her assembled fans.
"I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to all of you for making the trek out here to be with us," she told the audience at the Brooklyn show. "I wanted to, for the first time ever, introduce you to Volantis."

The dress has been named 'Volantis' by Gaga, which for any fans of Game Of Thrones out there is the name of a city in the Disputed Lands of Westeros. Speaking of the contraption she said it was "one small step for Volantis" and a "big time step" for Lady Gaga.
Lady Gaga has recently said they she wants to be the first artist to perform in space with a gig due to take place around 2015 whilst being streamed from ground zero.
