Controversial photographer Terry Richardson has shot French dance icons Daft Punk for a new photo collection. You will be pleased to know that everyone remained fully dressed throughout.

The shoot shows the French duo in helmets (of course) and dressed in gold and silver jackets to match their iconic headgear. The shoot shows Thomas Bangalter and Thomas Manuel De Homem Christo pretending to punch each other in a fake fight. The collection of photos is available to see in full here - and most notably contains an image of Richardson himself wearing Bangalter's helmet while holding De Homem Christo's under one arm.

Richardson has come under huge criticism recently for his exploitative photographs of female subject - most recently including Lana Del Rey and (of course) Miley Cyrus. A petition calling for big brands to stop using Richardson's work currently boasts 14,000 online signatures. The petition singles out two photos in particular for their content - one where a woman is seen performing 'a sexual favour' on Richardson and another where a model has the word 'slut' written on her forehead.

Daft Punk do nothing even remotely similar.
