Tinie Tempah has rescheduled his entire December UK tour, blaming work on his new album Demonstration, saying he hasn't had enough time to prepare for the tour.

The rapper was due to take his latest album Demonstration on the road next month, with dates kicking off in Aberdeen on 2 December. However, with the tour just weeks away, the 'Trampolines' star has issued a statement to cancel some shows and reschedule others.

"Guys, I only think it's right to tell you that after delivering Demonstration and working flat out trying to make an album you guys would be proud of, I feel I haven't had enough time to prepare for the December Tour to make it the best it can be," he said. "So myself and management have decided to postpone it until April so I have enough time to rehearse all the new songs and make this Tour even better than the last one."

He added: "Apologies to everyone who was looking forward to it. April will be amazing. I promise. See you then!"

Dates in Aberdeen, Glasgow, Leeds and Newcastle have been completely cancelled, while the Birmingham LG Arena show will instead take place over two nights at the neighbouring but much smaller Wolverhampton Civic Hall. Tinie's gig at Manchester Arena has been replaced by two smaller gigs at the city's O2 Apollo.

Tickets to original dates and venues remain valid, but dates that have changed venue require fans to contact providers to arrange replacements.

Brighton fans are in luck through, as he's added a date there.
