Brody Dalle, frontwoman of iconic punk band The Distillers is working on a new solo album, with plans to release the new record in early 2014.
The Australian star is best known for her work with Sourpuss, The Distillers and Spinnerette, but is now prepping a solo career after signing to Caroline records, a division of Universal Music.
Dalle has teamed up with a number of big names on her upcoming solo album, including Queens Of The Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys producer Alain Johannes, Garbage star Shirley Manson and Nick Valensi of The Strokes and more. This is shaping up to be something very special indeed.
No release date, title or tracklist has been announced for Dalle's new solo project, but plans are set to be revealed in the the coming weeks. She will also join husband Josh Homme to support Queens Of The Stone Age and Nine Inch Nails on their March tour of Australia.
