'The Retrorobot', a novelty act in the running for the Christmas No.1 has hit out against Gigwise's less-than-positive review of his festive single.
Being reffered to as a "self-referential pop culture turd" in the article wasn't something that the Retrobot took to kindly to and has come back fighting. Posting on Soundcloud the robot addressed Gigwise directly saying that he is going to be "the biggest pop culture turd" that we ever saw.

The Retrobot will release 'Christmas Robot' on December 15th in a bid to reach the Christmas number one spot. We wish him all the best of luck over here at Gigwise, it'd certainly be better than having X Factor at the top for Christmas.
