The Flaming Lips have revealed they will be releasing their cover album of the Stone Roses' self-titled debut, specially for Record Store Day Black Friday (November 29th).

Their take on the album is just one of many records the group are intending to release on the day, however the covers album is the only full-length on the list. Wayne Coyne told Rolling Stone that the record will feature a number of contributions from other artists such as: Foxygen's Jonathan Rado, Spaceface, Peaking Lights and many more.

The Flaming Lips will also be releasing a collaborative EP with Tame Impala, which sees the two covering each other's songs as well as a vinyl release of Peace Sword, the Lips' recent EP based on Ender's Game.

Records aren't the only thing that The Flaming Lips plan on releasing for Record Store Day Black Friday, according to Coyne (if it's finished in time) there will also be "a toy frog that contains an audio recording of the band's first ever demo." Aptly named the "Fuck You Frog."
