Lorde once performed cover of metal-icon, Ronnie James Dio's 'Man On The Silver Mountain' for a battle-of-the-bands style concert in New Zealand. See the video below.
She's not shy of covering other artists work and has been praised for her takes on Kanye West and Tears for Fears. What wasn't expected though, was a video of her singing a classic rock song in a high school band.
The band, originally called Extreme consisted of Lorde (real name Ella Yelish-O'connor) and six of her friends, with Lorde taking lead vocals in the performance. The video also sees the group involved in a cringe-worthy interview post-gig, where Lorde gives her opinion on their performance.

The video is a far cry away from Lorde's current lifestyle after signing a $2.5million publishing deal earlier this week that could see her working with the likes of Diplo and The Weeknd.
