Recently recovered Beady Eye guitarist Gem Archer has said that he sees life in a new light, after his skull fracture had healed.

Archer who suffered a severe skull fracture after falling down stairs at his home and a broken leg thereafter said that he is extremely glad to be back on the road following his recovery. The band had to reschedule a series of tour dates but 8 November saw Liam Gallagher and company grace the stage once again.

''I'm fine. More than fine, in fact. Looking at life differently now, which I see as a bonus,'' he told the NME, ''The first one, I slipped and fell and fractured my skull, and I can't remember much about it. The second one - apparently, isn't uncommon for people who have fractured skulls to have a further injury.''

Speaking of the tour cancellations Archer said that he felt guilty for letting down fans and band members, but he always looked forward to getting back on tour with the band's first resumed date taking place last week.

''There was an element of guilt on my part because we had to cancel shows. I'm not anxious [about returning], but I was looking forward to getting a few shows under my belt,'' he said.
