Solange has compiled an R&B compilation album to commemorate launching her own label, Saint Records. From the album, Solange's own composition 'Cash In' has emerged, and it's fantastic.
The less famous but arguably more talented Knowles sister has been busy forging her own path into the music industry in recent times, working as a DJ, producer, singer and now label boss. She has admirably refused to hang off Beyoncé's coat tails and worked her way up completely off her own hard work.
The track itself it a gorgeous slice of R&B at its best. Laid back without ever being dull, Solange sings beautifully over a warm organ sound and stripped down beats that represent doesn't have the more lively disco feel that some of her earlier songs had, especially from 2012's True EP.
