Arcade Fire have sparked speculation that they may be headlining Glastonbury Festival next year, after dropping a heavy-handed hint on a recent radio show. Listen to the snippet below.
Last night (Tuesday 19 November, 2013), the Reflektor stars were appearing on Jo Whiley's BBC Radio 2 show, when they asked about their touring plans for next summer.
"Get your wellies ready," said frontman Win Butler - before Jo Whiley went on to fuel rumours about Glasto by adding: "The wellies have been bought for a certain UK festival - we know the one that has quite a reputation for rain and welly-wearing...we shall leave it at that."
The band have already been confirmed to headline Hurricane Festival in Germany - which takes place the week before Glastonbury.

Another act destined for Worthy Farm is Lily Allen - who this week revealed that she has been booked to perform at Glastonbury 2014, revealing her festival plans in a BBC Radio 1 interview.
The singer, who recently made a comeback with track 'Hard Out Here' told Radio 1's Nick Grimshaw she would be putting in an appearance at Worthy Farm, which she described as "the best festival".
"It got confirmed yesterday. That's the first big thing I'm going to be doing. I'll be doing 16 weeks of festivals over the summer and then tour," she revealed, adding: "It's the best festival, I think – that, and Fuji Rock in Japan."
