Kanye West has given us his two cents on the world of fashion after rejecting an offer to work with Zappos designer Tony Hsieh on a new clothing range.
The Yeezus star has turned his hand to fashion designing in recent times, and in a podcast with American Psysho author Brett Easton-Ellis he describes how he emphatically turned down a chance to work with Hseih on a new range, explaining "I got into this giant argument with the head of Zappos that he's trying to tell me what I need to focus on. Meanwhile, he sells all this s**t product to everybody, his whole thing is based off of selling s**t product".

West also set his sights on Louis Vuitton, despite having worked on a range of trainers with the fashion house recently. Explaining that he wouldn't work with them again, he revealed "If I had the opportunity to design for Louis Vuitton now I wouldn't, because the prices are just too extreme.
"I don't want to use my message to have kids saving up that much to be a part of what the ideas are. That's the problem to me with luxury".
West did at least have some praise for Saint Laurent's head designer Hedi Slimane, who apparently makes some "nice shit". It's a surprise that West has so much time to contemplate the value of different designer brands considering he has his disastrous Yeezus tour to rescue and absurd videos to make with partner Kim Kardashian. I suppose we all have our hobbies.
