Rolling Stones legend Mick Jagger is to add a different kind of achievement to his already impressive CV, as it's been announced he is to become a great-grandfather.

The 70 year old singer's daughter with Bianca Jagger, Jade Jagger, told the Sunday Times her own daughter, 21 year old Assisi, is due to give birth in early 2014. However Jade, 42, has admitted her legendary father won't find it "particuarly fascinating."

"I think making Mick a grandfather obviously had a big impact whereas, now, making him a great-grandfather is no longer particularly fascinating," the former model revealed. "My dad has always been great at keeping the family together and having those important moments – Christmas parties, his birthday. We'll be spending New Year's Eve together, nearly all of us."

Jagger, who boasts seven children and four grandchildren, saw another milestone this year when he celebrated 50 years with his band The Rolling Stones. To mark the event, the band, who formed in 1962, played at Glastonbury for the first time and performed two special concerts at London's Hyde Park in July.
