U2's Bono and The Edge took to the stage at a charity fundraiser last night (November 24) to perform Daft Punk's hit 'Get Lucky' alongside Nile Rodgers. Check it out below.
The stars were raising money to help charity (RED) raise money for African relief efforts by auctioning off eye-wateringly expensive items off at Sotheby's in New York. Regrettably, Bono and The Edge took to the stage, alongside Chic's Nile Rodgers, to cover Daft Punk's summer smash 'Get Lucky'. We have to say, we preferred Pharrell's take on the track.

The trio also delivered their take on David Bowie's 'Let's Dance' slightly more successfuly, although by the sounds of it Bono was either having an off day or had enjoyed too much complimentary champagne. He also whizzed through both 'Perfect Day' and 'Beautiful Day' with Chris Martin, who accompanied him on the piano. Blimey. Check out the rest of the impromptu performances below.
U2 recently unveiled new track 'Ordinary Love', which will appear in the Nelson Mandela biopic Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom. The band are also reportedly gearing up to announce the release of their first album in three years at February's SuperBowl.
