Robin Thicke is hoping to team up with Will Ferrell's Anchorman 2 character Ron Burgundy for a music video of their cover of Christophers Cross' 1980 hit 'Ride Like The Wind.'

Having already recorded the cover, the odd pairing now want to make a video to promote the song and the new Anchorman 2 film due for release next month, but are said to be struggling to find the time to make it all happen according to the New York Post.

One reason being because apparently Ferrell's schedule is too busy with an insider telling the New York Post's Page Six: "Everyone's  on board for a proper music video, but Will's concerned about his schedule."

But if the video is too far away, Ferrel has already asked the 'Blurred Lines' singer to join him on an upcoming TV appearance to promote the film, and it seems that they may be taking to Jimmy Kimmel Live on 19 December.

It seems we will be seeing a lot more of Ron in the future since Ferrel's already been pretty busy getting him as much time on camera as possible leading up to Anchorman 2 with a spoof with Daft Punk for the EMA's being his latest stint. The film is due for release on 20 December.
