Moby has compared Thom Yorke's public criticism at music streaming service Spotify to "an old guy yelling at fast trains".

It seems the New York producer is in no hurry to join the ever-increasing roster of musicians to complain about Spotify, telling FACT magazine: "Artists who are adaptable are doing fine. A musician who makes records, tours, DJs, remixes, does music for video games and films is doing fine. I love Thom Yorke, but when I heard him complaining about Spotify, I’m like, "You’re just like an old guy yelling at fast trains."

Yorke took to Twitter in response to the article seemingly defending his aversion to new technology, simply saying: "I am a 45 year old Luddite and proud of it...yawn."

Radiohead and Atoms For Peace frontman Yorke has previously given the music streaming service a tongue-lashing after pulling his music from the software claiming it was "bad for new music." Yorke then expanded on his comments, dubbing Spotify "the last fart, the last desperate fart of a dying corpse."

Other musicians to criticise Spotify include Foals frontman Yannis Philipakkis, who said he'd rather someone "stole the record on vinyl than bought it or streamed it on Spotify", David Byrne, and Placebo's Brian Molko, who said the service was "just interested in making money at the expense of others".
